Ella & Ríodhna's World

My name is Ella. This used to be my blog. Then when I was 2 years, 5 months and 1 week old, I got a little sister called Ríodhna. I love my sister so now we're sharing our blog. Welcome to our world...

Watching the news like a big girl

If you look very closely you can see that this photo was taken on St Patricks Day. And no, I'm not wearing green. Or shamrocks. And the only parade I saw was on the news. But that was ok because it was a really cold day - we found that out on a quick trip to the supermarket in the morning. So the fire got lit. I had a quick nap upstairs at lunchtime but then came down and lay beside Mammy on the couch (no, she was lying down, silly - the couch isn't that big) and slept for another 2 hours. So all in all it was very relaxing.

As you can see I'm starting to use the adult furniture. My fisher price singing chair is too low down when there's this much lego on the floor. I need to be able to rise above it!

Bringing teddy for a ride

On Saturday we all went into town to look in some shops. And then we came home and watched a big rugby match. I think it was very exciting but I was far too busy to sit down and watch.

Come on and dance

Last weekend was 3 days long. I like that a lot. On Sunday I went for my regular swim and we also went for a big long walk. In the park, the dogs ran off their leads and I got out of my buggy and walked down the path myself. We bumped into Susan and her Mammy and Patricia so we had a quick chat. And then we went to the park. I had a quick go on the swings but that park also has an activity frame with a slide and a tunnel and a bridge that you can walk over just for kids my size. Actually it might be for bigger kids but I have no fear. I can walk to the top of the ladder and sit down at the top of the slide and slide down. For some reason Mammy likes me to go back up the ladder (to let other kids get a turn) but I like to climb back up the slide-y bit and I'm very good at it. I get this "no fear" gene from my Daddy apparently.

I also met my neighbours Séan and Liam while we were there. They are much littler than the Crumps of the same names. I never played with them before. Séan is a year older than me and Liam a year younger so he was only allowed to sit in his buggy because he can't walk or even crawl yet.
