Too Many Ellas
So I've been back from my holidays for a little while now. I'm well used to being 2 - I've had lots of cakes and candles and happy birthday to yous to get me used to it. The weather has got a little bit colder so I've loads of new clothes again now and I guess I'll never see the ones I wore on holidays again. I did buy some new clothes in France - this picture is of me just after I picked out my new winter coat. It's very like my best teddy bear inside so I'm very pleased with it.
Of course the title of this post is a reference to a Noddy cartoon of the same name (with Noddy, instead of Ella). I haven't seen Noddy for a little while now but I watched a few DVDs on holiday alright.
I like France. I got to go on 2 more aeroplanes. The first time I was on mammy's lap and we went very early in the morning so I had a snooze. On the way back I was a big girl with my own seat. It was Ryanair and late at night but I had plenty of energy to make sure Daddy didn't get a minutes peace when he moved to a different row to get a snooze.
There are lots of round-and-rounds (carousels) in France. So I took full advantage and I think I went on every kind of car and animal you could sit on until Mammy and Daddy were dizzy going round and round. We mostly stayed in Cannes in an apartment where I slept on my Fifi bed in the same room as Mammy and Daddy.
We had loads of lovely food to eat, we played on the beach- I got a new bucket & spade set with a sieve and a watering can which was very useful but I left it in the apartment for another little girl to use because we had so much stuff to bring home, we went for lots of walks and I slept in my buggy sometimes. We saw lots of boats.
A couple of days we went on trips so I've been on lots of French trains and buses. On my birthday we were in Monte Carlo. It's a very hilly place but I thought Mammy needed the exercise so she still got to push my buggy up all the hills. Because it was my birthday, I got a big ice cream after my lunch and after we'd seen all the fish, I had a lovely grown up drink of apple juice outside a cafe while Daddy drank the most expensive pint of beer he has ever had. Mind you, my apple juice might have been expensive too but I didn't ask about that!
By the way, this weekend, I've decided to see will Mammy answer to Mummy instead. She does. So I might call her that in future. I'll try it out for a while anyway. If you're interested, there's a few other new photos on Flickr, just click through...
