Wax on, wax off
Now that I'm nearly three, Mammy and Daddy have obviously decided that it's time I started to help out with the chores. So I had to help Daddy wash both cars a few weekends ago. I didn't mind too much - it's quite fun getting splashed but most of the time I stayed well clear of the water.
The day before I washed the car, I stayed home from creche to help Mammy because Muireann and Sarah brought Alex and Grace for lunch. Of course they are much smaller than me but I can help them play with toys and talk to them. Alex was swimming all around the floor - he can move pretty fast. Grace had a lovely snooze in Sarah's arms and played on the playmat.
Then I got sick - thankfully not until after we had the visitors here. The doctor said it was a virus - that might just be what they say when they don't know what's wrong with you. Anyway I had a bad cough and I don't like the cough bottle for dry coughs at all. I had a bit of a temperature too - one night Mammy and Daddy gave me a bath at 2 in the morning to fix it and after that I had lots more medicine. And also I lost my voice. I don't know where it went to - I was hoarse and then it went away completely and I could only whisper. Thankfully it's back again now.
I was home for a whole week with Mammy and Ríodhna and then Mammo came to mind us because Mammy and Daddy had to go on a long message to see a rugby match - it must hav been a long match because they were gone for 3 whole days and 2 nights but that was ok because Jill and Mark and Jamie and Emma were here too. Emma even brought me to the creche on Monday morning. She got me there a lot earlier than Mammy does although Mammy says we'll be going early again from Friday when she has to start working in her office every day.
