Yes, I had a birthday party/ Actually I had two. One at home on my birthday day. I stayed at home with Mammy & Ríodhna all day. In the morning I got my presents from my family - the noughties version of the fisher price garage from Mam & Dad and some extra people from Ríodhna. Mam had to assemble the garage for me - it took her ages but it was worth the wait.

We just chilled out and played some games and then Mammó arrived and we went for a walk to the shops. It all got very exciting at tea time when some of my aunties and uncles arrived for a party.

I was a bit overwhelmed by it all but I soon recovered to inspect all my presents, eat some of the food, help blow up more balloons, help Dad decorate all the cake and then finally the best bit. Happy birthday to me and blowing out the candles. We had sausage rolls and chicken and pizza and pitta bread and dips and fizzy apple juice (me) and fizzy wine (everyone else) and cake and sweets and Uncle Jamie's favourite crisps I was so excited I'm surprised I managed to go to sleep at all. I love being 3 and I certainly love birthday parties and presents.

The next day Mammy had to go back to her office. We brought a pink cake with a fairy on it to the creche and at snack time we had a party and everyone sang happy birthday to me again.

Mammy goes to her office every day now so we get up early in the morning and all go to the creche. Sometimes in the car and sometimes on the Luas. The car is pretty slow. At least we can have a chat. And I have my breakfast in the toddler room again now until its time for Maria to collect her class at 9 o'clock. Ríodhna is in the baby room. One day Estella and I went to visit our sisters together and we got to blow bubbles and eat some marshmallows.
