Ella & Ríodhna's World

My name is Ella. This used to be my blog. Then when I was 2 years, 5 months and 1 week old, I got a little sister called Ríodhna. I love my sister so now we're sharing our blog. Welcome to our world...

Happy Birthday to me

My yummy birthday cake
Originally uploaded by Ella's Ma.
I'm 1 today. Hurray! I got loads of presents. Ella helped me to unwrap them. She tried to help me to play with some of them too but I've got pretty good at screaming loudly whenever I don't want her to do that. I got a dolly. I kiss her lovingly and then throw her to the ground. I think she likes it.

Big news is that I've decided it's time I learned to move some more. So in the past week. I started to take to my feet.
Off I go
Any time I find a free set of adult hands, I grab hold and off I go. I'm practising loads. I made Mammo walk around Emma's house all weekend while Mammy & Daddy were moving us out of the new house and back to our house. We're staying with Emma & Jamie till tomorrow because Bob wasn't quite finished in our house.

I'm getting very fast on my bum too and then also for variation I sometime do actual, real, proper crawling. I can pull myself up and stay standing for quite a while and once or twice, I've even shuffled sideways a step or two - maybe the start of cruising.

Making Ríodhna's cake
We had chocolate cake this evening with a candle for my birthday. Ella made it for me. She made it some fairy cakes too so I'm going to take some of those in to my friends in creche tomorrow.

Night, night
