I'm dreaming of a white February
It's been snowing all week. Every morning the ground has been white when we have woken up. It doesn't stick for very long but there are loads more snow showers curing the day and we've been able to make snowballs and a tiny little snowman with forks for arms and balls for eyes in creche. We seem to have spent a lot of time in the car this week because traffic moves very slowly when it's snowing. Mammy got so stuck in traffic one evening that Daddy had to get us from creche and then we had to walk nearly all the way to Ranelagh bridge to get in the car. It was snowing heavily and it was very wet. We tried hiding under Daddy's coat but our feet got wet and we had to take our shoes off in the car.
Apart from that we do like the snow and we were delighted when we woke up this morning to see that there was even more snow and it was sticking. We got wrapped up really cosy and put on our waterproof coats and our boots. First we went out in the back garden and threw snowballs and jumped on the snowy trampoline and tried snow angels but the snow was too hard to make a proper angel pattern - it was quite icy really.
Out front was much better because it was softer. We made proper snow angels on the footpath. And we picked up loads of snow and made a snowman on our garden wall. The girls across the road had made one on their wall too - that's how we got the idea to put it up there. We played until we were too frrezing and then we came inside and had a choco-mocca-locca-chino (or hot chocolate to normal people!).
