Christmas Countdown
It's time for bed. It's been a funny week. I've been at home all week with Mammy and Daddy because they were on holidays and I wasn't really well enough to go to creche. I feel fine and I'm good at taking my inhaler medicine now too. But Mammy and Daddy were fussing and didn't want me out in the cold air. Even though that meant I missed my creche play and Santa coming to creche. I'm not sure how they managed the play without me because Maria and Rosanne said I was the best and had the loudest voice and everyone would have loved to see me. They'll have to wait till some other time for my creche play debut. Maria called in though on her way home yesterday and brought my santa claus present (lovely jewellery) and the mug I painted on our creche trip to the pottery studio and some lovely photos I had take in creche. She said she had to do my tambourine piece in the play. I knew they'd miss me.
Johanna is at home in Germany. She was meant to go on Monday but there was a problem with her plane because it's very snowy in Germany. So she had to come back to us again but then Mammy brought her again the next morning (well actually in the middle of the night begore we were even awake) and that time the plane worked.
Yesterday evening we stayed up quite late because we went to a concert in the concert hall. First we went for a drive around time to see all the Christmas lights, including the big tree near where Daddy works. The concert was The Snowman. We loved it. There was loads of other music first and we sang carols and I clapped along to every single thing. And we saw the film of the Snowman then a little boy sang and Ella said he had a lovely voice. And at the end we had loads more music, including our new favourite Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and some extra carols.
It was so late when we got to bed that we're meant to be ready to sleep early this evening. I dunno though - Ella's being pretty giddy!
