Well we're off to Galway for the long weekend so I won't get to blog again until after the weekend but hopefully I'll have loads of photos of me and Mammy & Daddy and Monica & Simon and all their boys then.

I'm having a good week this week. It's a great laugh in the creche and I never know whether Mammy or Daddy will appear to collect me.

You can all stop worrying now. I'm better. I had lots of bottles today and even a banana and I wasn't sick once. And I've no temperature either. Just in case, we didn't go out at all so I've been doing lots of playing with my toys. I suppose that means I'll have to eat porridge in the morning now! I'm going to have a bath now - I feel like a good splash...

I got that wrong. I am sick. Oh dear. I've never felt like this before. Not much food or fluid is staying down (is that too much information?) and it's not very nice. But everyone is being very good to me and my Mammo came to mind me so that my Mammy could go to work today.

No photo opportunities this time

Sorry, there's no picture to go with this post. That's because Mammy was all set to take a photo of me in my new coat when we got home from the creche. But I threw up. A lot. All over me, her, her suit, the rug and the sofa. But don't worry, I'm not sick - I probably just ate too much apple because it was so yummy.

I can't let her take a photo now because I'm in an old babygro that I've been wearing for 3 months now. I've nearly grown out of it. But it's ok because she's going to buy me new ones tomorrow. And my new coat is in the wash.

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. My days are busy now that I'm in the creche so I don't get so much time. I've been trying out some new foods. Something called chicken tastes ok. But I got something with swede in it and Mammy needn't bother cooking that again. Daddy was away playing basketball at the weekend so Mammo was here to help Mammy mind me and we went to see a new house that my Uncle Ross is buying in Kildare. I can't tell you much about it because I slept through the whole thing. But Uncle Ross says there's a pink and purple coloured bedroom for me when I go to stay. I don't know if he's really ready for that yet!!!

I think my Mammy has lost it. She took loads of photos of me this morning- more than usual. So I tried lots of different poses. This was one of the more outrageous ones. I think she has been watching too much of America's Next Top Model and she fancies herself as one of those photgraphers. Anyway apparently lots of them came out well so make sure you click through to my Flickr site where you can see some more attractive shots. I dunno why she has to pick the mad looking one to blog anyway...

He was here for the weekend. And now the room they keep calling my room has nice smooth walls. So apparently I might even sleep in there some time before I'm 1!! I'm not sure Mammy really wants to put me into a different room. I think she likes me in her room. We had great fun this weekend - I decided it was time to test out my vocal chords so I've been doing lots of squealing.

I've had a special request for a photo of my teeth. So here you go Nana, this smile's for you!

I can't believe it's Friday already. My Mammy was at work every day this week so I was at my creche. I'm getting to know everyone there now. One little boy had to go home with his Daddy on Wednesday because of something called "chicken pox". Whatever it is, apparently I might get it too. Mammy says better to get it now than the week of my wedding and Auntie Jill says it's not too good when you get it the week before your exams either.

Grandad Mossy is coming tomorrow to help Daddy fix up my room. I've been sleeping in a bigger cot since last night. I like the extra space to stretch out in.

ok, I see my bottle now so it's time to go to bed. Night night.

I am six months old today. It was my first full day in the creche and I was very good. I had two naps and one of them was nearly 2 hours long because I'm very relaxed about being there now. It was good because I was wide awake when Mammy collected me. So she gave me a rice cake to celebrate. I don't think I ate very much of it but it was fun to play with it for a while. Eoin called round this evening so I was nice and smiley for him too. Grown ups are very easy to entertain.

Look what happened to my Daddy at the weekend. And it had all been going so well too. Mammy disappeared on Saturday and Daddy looked after me all day. We had good fun. We went to see a baseball match and then we did some shopping & we played loads of games until Mammy came home. Then on Sunday, Mammy brought me back to the place where my christening was on and we saw the priest again but this time there were lots of people there. Daddy had gone playing softball. He came back with a sore foot. We had to bring him to A&E but it took a look time so we left him there. And when we collected him, they had put a weird thing on his foot and he was hopping around on sticks. He has a broken bone in his foot so he can't carry me or drive his car for a while...
