A secret tryst with Liam

Galway's cool. This time me and Mammy went on the train and daddy picked us up in the car when we got there. He had been missing for a couple of days so it must have taken him a long time to drive there.

In the Crumps house there are lots of toys for me to pull out of cupboards and lots of boys for me to follow around. Liam and I invented a new game - playing under the quilt in his mammy and daddy's room. It was hilarious and the grown ups seemed to think so too.

better than any sand pit
We also went to the beach - even though it wasn't very sunny. But I got to destroy hundreds of sandcastles. It was a bit of a race between me and Liam to see who could destroy them first because Conor was more interested in flying the kite with his Daddy and Séan wanted to rock climb. After a while the beach got crowded with teenagers - something about an irish college - and we left.

Getting ready for bed

I sleep very well in Galway. It must be the fresh air. Because I certainly had enough yummy things to eat to keep me awake. That's why I had to give me teeth an extra good brush.

We're having a run of nice weather (although I may have jinxed it by saying this. Ever since Auntie Jill got married the sun has been shining. So I got to use my ball pit as an actual paddling pool. Cool!

My first wedding

Uncle Mark and Auntie Jill
Originally uploaded by Ella's Ma.
My Auntie Jill and Uncle Mark got married yesterday. We had a great time. It was a lovely sunny day. I don't remember it being so nice for a very long time.
Laurel and Hardy

We all got dressed up in pretty dresses and went to watch them get married. I had to stay quiet for that bit. And then we all went to the park - I had icecream & fed the ducks while everyone else had their photos taken. I've never seen so many cameras - and I've had my photo taken a lot.

Then we went for some food and some drinks. Well by 8 o'clock I was really really tired from all the grown up things I was doing. So Uncle Mark & Auntie Jill let me sleep in a cot in their room and then in the middle of the night, Mammy & Daddy brought me home to my bed... but not in this car - even though it looks like just my sort of car, it didn't have my name on it.
