More holidays

my holiday bed

We're going on holidays tomorrow. I've got a special bed to bring with me so that I don't have to sleep in a silly old travel cot. I tried it out last Saturday afternoon but I didn't do much sleeping! In case you don't recognise here, that's Fifi on the cover. Fifi and Dora are two of my favourites at the moment - sometimes I can't even decide which I prefer to watch.

oh my sore head

What else has been happening? Well I learnt a few things. One of them is that when you bump your head it's a good idea to put something cold on it. So last time I banged my head, I went and got some peas from the freezer. They made it feel much better and I only had a little bruise the next day.

I found the chocolate

Another thing is that when your Daddy is tryng to watch golf on the tv, that's a good time to ask him for some chocolate. Both times I tried it last weekend, it worked! You can see I've had a hair cut too. It was getting very long (click through to Flickr and you'll see an example) so mammy tried to cut it. But she made a bit of a mess of it and it wasn't straight at all. So then we went to a proper childrens haridressers with nice seat and Barney on the tv and the girl gave me a lovely hair cut and a lollipop when she was finished because I was so good. She gave me a lovely clip too but that only lasted one day - I lost it causing chaos around the shops with Caoimhe Hill and I've decided I can do without clips.

This is a photo my auntie Jill took of me last weekend in Wexford when I was trying to put some manners on my very favourite teddy. We were in wexford last weekend and all my aunties and uncles from wexford were there too so I kept them busy all weekend. Emma drove us down in the pouring rain. I got to sing my "raining, it's pouring" song over and over and also we played the "I'll sing a song, you all try to guess what it is" game many times. They guessed Baa baa black sheep but I still have a couple of secret songs that only I know.

We had lots of visitors on Sunday so I clung to the people I know best but I did let everyone else admire me. I wore a pretty red and white dress for Cork in the hurling but it didn't seem to work. We went to visit my great great auntie Peggy in the evening. It was her birthday but as I can only count to ten, I can't tell you what age she was. She's a little bit older than me anwyay.
