My week off
After Easter I didn't go to the creche all week. On Monday I helped Daddy to put a new door on the shed at the bottom of the garden. He says "measure three times, cut once" - I say "measure everything in sight". Why not?
Then on Tuesday we went to Wexford to visit Mammó for a few days on our holidays. . Not Daddy, just me and Mammy and Ríodhna.I had a very busy time. Mammó's flowers need a lot of watering. In fact I watered the flowers, the plants, the grass, the stones and the wall in her back garden many times. I'm so glad I brought my wellies with me.
We went to the beach where I made lots of sandcastles - this year I'm in a more constructive mode so I make them but I don't knock them straight down. In this picture here I've all my clothes on but before we left I'd found a nice pool that I could splash around in without going near the waves so I just had to strip off for that.
he next day we went to the Hill's house and I played with Caoimhe and Ronan. They have great toys and a really good playroom. I'm hoping we might get a playroom soon. The best toy was a cash register - I learnt how to swipe a credit card in it to pay for the shopping which everyone agreed would be very useful for me in future.
On Friday Mammy went to the attic and found a huge supply of toys from when she was a little girl. There was a garage, a house, a school, a doctor's kit, a workman's kit and a cooking set and loads more. I had loads of fun playing with them. There were some baby toys too but Ríodhna is so small that she can't play with them yet.
