Ella & Ríodhna's World

My name is Ella. This used to be my blog. Then when I was 2 years, 5 months and 1 week old, I got a little sister called Ríodhna. I love my sister so now we're sharing our blog. Welcome to our world...

Montessoris go to the zoo

My mammy went away on her long message with her friend Monica the weekend before last. I think that's one of the reasons why we haven't done a blog for ages.

But just before she went, we had our montessori zoo trip. And Mammy (or Mummy, Mum, Mam, Ma or whatever else I decide to call her) came with us. She didn't come on the bus. I sat beside Sean on the way to the zoo and beside Oisin and his Mammy on the way back. We had great fun.
Some of us looked at elephants
We saw elephants (last years baby is bigger and there's a new baby but mostly we ignored them and ran up and down the viewing steps), we played hide and seek with sealions, we couldn't find the tigers, we ran along side the penguins. And then we had a snack and went for a toilet break and then we were all very tired walking around so it was time to go back to the buy and go back to the creche.
But some of us climbed steps instead

Jack and Charlie were over visiting us too with Auntie Susan and Uncle John. We had great fun playing. We got collected early loads and when Mam went away, Grandad came up too. We went bowling. I've never been bowling before. They have a special thing that little girls use to roll the balls. I got really good at it and got a spare. Riodhna had a go too.

Have we built a duck pond?

Look at this.

Guess where they were?

Is this a duck pond?
Yes this is the roof of our sitting room. We woke up yesterday morning and Daddy looked out the window and saw them just sitting there. And wandering around. And generally making themselves comfortable. They stayed for long enough for us to wake up and watch them for ages too and then we saw them line up and fly away - I guess they were looking for a bigger pond.

We took some pictures. I brought one of them to creche today and Maria stuck it on the wall on our montessori room.
