It was a weekend for fun and games. Can you spot Dylan and Jack having a wrestle on the chair behind me? Everyone else was distracted watching me running round and round the cushion like a teddy bear while Auntie Nic tickled me. It was really good fun. Oh, how I laughed! Pity Daddy didn't take out the video camera for that one.

There was a lot of playstation and PSP playing going on too.
I got to have one go but I crashed pretty quickly and that was the end of that.

He's just 7 weeks old and babies that old sleep a lot, even when there is a noisy 1 and a half year old and a big brother running around the place on Friday. And then the next day we discovered that he was far too interested to keep sleeping when two 13 year olds and more aunties and uncles joined in so we saw him awake a lot more on Saturday.

Because he's a boy, he has lots of blue things. He let me sleep in his room for a nap and one night too so I got to sleep in a blue room with a blue blanket and lots of blue toys. Just for a change.

I now have 3 boy cousins and no girls at all. Who am I going to pass on all my lovely pink clothes to?

I've been in England with my aunties and uncles and cousins and, of course, my Nana for Easter weekend. I discovered that there are lots of swings in England and lots of people to push me on them and to show me how to use them. I wasn't allowed to go on the tyre swing though. That swing is just for Daddies and Nanas.

Belated Happy Birthday Auntie Nic

I hope you had a really happy day. We can have a little celebration this weekend. Daddy says it wasn't a big celebration birthday this year. Funny, I thought all birthdays were big celebrations. This "belated" thing is getting to be a bit of a pattern with me. I'd better stop it before it stops being cute I guess.

So what have I been doing? Well I have a great big new toy to play with as you can see. Also my Mammy gave me a pretty radical haircut. She was getting fed up at how straggly it was and the hairdressers was closed when we went there at the weekend. So she did it herself. Everyone at the creche said it was lovely but I suspect they're just glad that I'm not peering out through my fringe any more.

Last Sunday we went to meet Mammo. I showed her all the good shops and then we had a cup of tea with Irene and Sinead. I had a chocolate lollipop thing for the first time. It was yummy.

Look! I'm practising drinking a whole drink in one go with no hands. Daddy says it will come in useful as a skill in later life. As far as I can see it's pretty easy. I can even swing my drink from side to side.

Yesterday we went to see some animals. I saw a sheep who baa-ed at me and a tiny little baby lamb. I saw some little horsies and some geese too.
But it was too wet to stay very long so we soon left and went to get me fitted for new shoes. I'm a 4 1/2 F now. We didn't buy new ones though because they didn't have the shoes Mammy wanted for me - only pale pinks ones that I would have great fun dirtying.

When we're in the shops we often go into one toy shop where I can go mad and play with everything. They always have lots of toys left out around the place for me to play with. Mind you, I'm not the only kid there so you need to be determined to get a go on everything.


I think Saturday is the day for sport. There was lots of rugby on yesterday and I think soccer too. But I can usually distract Daddy and made him play with me instead when I need to
